Cast Iron Pneumatic Operated Wafer Butterfly Valve
Description
Pneumatic wafer butterfly valve is a kind of mid-line soft-seal butterfly valve with good sealing performance. The sealing materials include rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc., and the leakage can reach zero. Due to the limitation of structural characteristics, Cast iron wafer butterfly valve is not suitable for high temperature, high pressure and anti-wear industries. It is only suitable for switching and regulating flow in normal temperature environment and low pressure, medium pressure and other places.
Working Principle
When the pneumatic wafer butterfly valve is opened, the main control console controls the solenoid valve to open through an electrical signal, and the compressed air enters the pressure regulating filter valve to filter the impurities, oil and other dirt in the compressed air. The pressure regulating valve adjusts the pressure of the compressed air and enters the pneumatic actuator through the solenoid valve. The compressed air drives the pneumatic actuator structure to move, driving the valve stem to rotate 0-90°C, thereby opening the pneumatic butterfly valve. When the pneumatic soft-seal butterfly valve is closed, the main control console controls the solenoid valve to close through an electrical signal, cuts off the compressed air from entering the pneumatic actuator, and the cylinder stops moving. If a double-acting pneumatic actuator is installed, the cylinder moves in the opposite direction under the force of the return spring in the cylinder to close the pneumatic butterfly valve. If a double-acting cylinder is installed, the valve stops in place. The double-acting cylinder is equipped with a two-position five-way solenoid valve. If the pneumatic butterfly valve needs to be closed, the solenoid valve can be controlled to switch the air inlet and exhaust holes to close the valve. A handwheel device can be installed according to customer requirements. When necessary, the handwheel switch can be opened and closed to switch between pneumatic and manual operations.
